Wiser
It's a dilemma, i nearly lost my mind. My phone's battery is fucked up, it turned off even when my battery is on 30-60%. I tried to find a solution, replace the battery or get a new phone. Option one, this phone is too old to be renewed, so if i change the battery, yeah i can use it properly but, even with new battery, it will last at least for 4-5 hours without charging, and that's not enough, i have to use my phone to contact my manager, my boss, and other employees (i worked as HR, so i need my phone to contact all the employees under my supervision). Option two, get a new phone, i searched a phone that goes into my wishlist, it's quite expensive but, it worth for the price, so i tried to find an illegal phone which is way more cheaper than the taxed one and it's actually the same product.
I question myself, is this second option really safe enough? So i did a research and...... Boom, i found out that the government will block all the illegal phones by its IMEI soon, so it can't receive any local mobile provider services, thus, that phone will be useless, not fully useless but yeah, YOU CAN'T MAKE A PHONE CALL, SO WHAT'S THE POINT OF GETTING THAT PHONE ANYWAY?
Actually, i got the money. If i use some of my "treasure" i can rush and buy it now because any illegal phones that bought and activated with local SIM card before April 20, 2020 will be okay and won't blocked by the provider. But nah, it's not good to rush on everything, i'd better save up for another needs because i realized, it's not really a "need", it's actually considered as a "want" that came in a bad timing lol. Maybe i will just replace this old dude's battery and stick with it a 'lil longer. Thanks God i'm a wise man now, if this was 4 years ago, i would pick the second option and regrets everything. The lesson is, needs over wants.
